FUNDING OPTIONS

Occupational Therapy with Allied 42 can be accessed through a range of funding options. If you’re unsure what you’re eligible for, our team can help guide you through the process.

How can OT be funded?

We support clients through a range of funding pathways, including:

  • NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)
  • CHSP (Commonwealth Home Support Programme)
  • My Aged Care / Support at Home
  • DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs)
  • Medicare (Chronic Disease Management Plan)
  • Private Health Insurance
  • Private referrals (self-funded)

Do I need a referral?

In most cases, you do not need a referral to access our services.

  • NDIS, CHSP, Aged Care Packages, and private clients: No referral required
  • Medicare and DVA: A referral from your GP is required to access funding
  • GP's can send secure referrals through our website, Medical-Objects or HealthLink

If you’re unsure, we can help you check what applies to your situation.

Can I use my Aged Care Package?

Yes. If you receive a Home Care Package, OT services can usually be funded through your package provider. We are happy to work with your Support Coordinator or provider to arrange services.

Can I claim through private health insurance?

Yes, many private health funds provide rebates for Occupational Therapy services. The rebate amount will depend on your level of cover. We recommend checking directly with your insurer.

Not sure what you're eligible for?

That’s completely okay. Many people aren’t sure where to start.

You can:

  • Call us and we’ll talk you through it
  • Send a referral and we’ll confirm your eligibility
  • Ask your GP, support coordinator, or case manager to contact us

We’re here to make the process as simple as possible.
